You Can Make a Difference in the Life of a Patient!
There are several giving opportunities:
- We welcome contributions on behalf of family members and loved ones who are battling cancer. We also welcome general or anonymous donations.
- We accept donations in memory of someone who fought a noble battle with cancer, in lieu of flowers or other gifts.
- We host several fundraising events throughout the year, all proceeds go towards the goal of helping patients and families.
Each Assistance in Healthcare chapter is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization that does not receive state or federal funding, relying solely on the support of individual donors. Donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

How We Help
100% of every dollar donated to Assistance in Healthcare goes towards the goal of helping patients and their families. Our grants provide assistance with non-medical expenses, which may be challenging to pay during a patient’s treatment and recovery, including:
- Mortgage or rent payments
- Utilities
- Groceries
- Childcare
- Gas and car payments
- School supplies
- Other living expenses
We do not assist with medical expenses, such as doctor or hospital bills, medications, or vitamins and supplements.
All AIH organization's board members are volunteers who donate their time for planning and hosting fundraising activities. Each chapter plan fundraisers year round. Other sources of funds include memorials and donations.
